- The program lets you transfer files from a C-64 to any other computer that
- is equipped with a modem that will do 300 bps. Neither a modem nor an
- RS-232 interface adapter nor a SwiftLink cartridge is required at the C-64
- end. SID is used as a tone generator to implement the Bell 103 FSK 300 baud
- standard. You must connect the audio output (available at the AUDIO/VIDEO
- connector) to a telephone cable that connects to the other computer's modem.

- (Cyclic Redundancy Check) of a file. The CCITT polynomial is used, the
- same one used in Xmodem/CRC and Ymodem. You may select either a machine
- language or a BASIC routine. The BASIC routine takes forever; don't select it
- unless you are either serving a life sentence, or are marooned on a tropical
- island. But the BASIC lines should make it easier to follow the algorithm
- used.
